Mystery Monday: Play Like a Kid

School’s almost out… it’s starting to feel like summer!  I’m so excited.  We’re grilling out right now!  My challenge to you this week is (assuming you’re an adult) is play like a kid again.  Do something you feel you’re too old to do.  Go ahead, give it a try.

What will you get?  Here is it… the satisfaction of playing with your kids and them lovin’ every minute of it!  If you don’t have kids, borrow some. :) .

Here are a few suggestions…

  • run through the sprinkler
  • camp out in the backyard
  • eat watermelon and have a seed spitting contest
  • make mud pies
  • pull out every extra blanket in the house and make a fort
  • take a nap in your fort  (mmm… sounds good doesn’t it)
  • or if you’re like me – just take a nap – in the day (I never do that!)
  • set up the video camera and make a music video
  • jump on the trampoline
  • ride bikes
  • roller skate
  • have a hula hoop contest or jump rope

Anything that  makes you feel like a kid again!!!  The point is, have fun and make some new wonderful memories.  If you feel like sharing what you did, I’d love to hear it.   Oh, and don’t forget to get out the camera.  :)

P.S. I would never do play like this – even as a kid – I don’t like to be that dirty!! But you can sure try.

cheri - I LOVE the pictures!!! It looks like soooo much fun however I don’t think I could actually do it. It looks awful dirty! I’ll leave this one up to the kids and maybe try another.

Teri - Hi Lasha, I tried to email you earlier with some pics of fun “kid things”, but cox’s website was having trouble. Anyway, I put them on Facebook. I really like the one of Carley on the teeter totter. Love your mystery monday theme this week and excited that I won last week! Hope all is well. Teri

Taylor - Aww, that’s so cute. What a bunch of little boys… I wouldn’t have done that either!

Elisa - I was a kid at park day! We had races on the BIG slides at the Independence Park. I won a few–not very many :) My aide even took a picture of me. Haven’t seen it yet….not sure I want to. ha! It was fun! I was TIRED at the end of the day!
